Under the main menu EXHIBITION tab are pages of virtual exhibitions of art in Zambia that may feature an individual artist or a group exhibition either presenting a shared theme or show works selected for a special occasion.
This facility offers a unique opportunity to provide public access to imagery otherwise literally out of sight. It thus provides a way to truly appreciate the oeuvre of artists whose work now is scattered.
Artists, Zambian artists in particular, shall benefit by seeing the art made by their predecessors and contemporaries; art lovers shall be able to develop a broader understanding of Art in Zambia.
Anyone can submit ideas for exhibition, present exhibition lay outs or a fully developed exhibition design.
Designers and contributors are fully acknowledged once an exhibition is published.
Proper procedure must be observed to qualify for selection.Including:
Observance of copyrights, permission of owners of art works if relevant, and adequate documentation.
Photographic material MUST be of good quality; that is sharp, displaying the art work properly and with a minimum shortest side of 600 pixels. Resolution should be for i-net publication, i.e., 72 or 96 pixels/inch. Note that higher resolutions result in larger pictures (not in sharper pictures) and excessively heavy documents.
Publication is the privilege of the Administrator and the Editorial Team.
